1 mile warm-up to Liberty Park. 3 x 1 mile tempo pace with 3 minutes recovery + 3 x 30 sec fast with 1 minute recovery. 1 mile cool down home.
Really struggled on this. Came no where near tempo pace, more like MP. Splits of 8:01, 8:31, 8:35. I don't think the first was really 8:01. My effort felt consistent and my garmin was jumping all over on that one. Pace was anywhere from 7:50 to 9:45. Fell asleep mentally a bit on the 3rd one which is why it was slower.
